With contact & deal done, the pick up was next.

Initially an Unregistered Vehicle Permit @$25 a day was thought to be the go for the 25km journey. BUT, the lack of seats bolted to the floor, seatbelts & dubious fuel & brakes, a trailer is a wee bit safer/better option. 

Trailer booking was made for the Saturday Morning; All weekend hire for the price of 1 day and super bonus: we can pick up on Friday arvo after 15:00 thus allowing for a rather early pick up Saturday!

I must admit, I was pretty excited & didn't sleep too well Friday night!

Pick up Wendy from Alex!

We had to hot wire her to start the engine to load onto the trailer.

She drove straight up the trailer!

Unloading was just as easy; although driving off the back of the trailer was a tad disconcerting

And now Wendy is happy at her new home.

And we are happy to have Wendy with us!
